Ela Gandhi, the granddaughter of Mahatma Gandhi visited Seva Mandir Udaipr Centre on the occasion of UML-Environmental Awards. She is a peace activist, was member of parliament in South Africa. After serving in Parliament she developed many programmes against domestic violence and founded the Gandhi Development Trust. Many times she was awarded for her contribution to the freedom struggle in South Africa. During the ceremony speech she was sharing her memory about Mahatma ji and often referred to his ideas. As I had a chance to met her and talk to her I must say that she is a person of great charisma and at the same time very modest, worm and calm.

Some of the photos below were taken by my friend Manish Kumar.
