Last 4 days I spend living in proper Rajasthani village! Together with few people from Seva Mandir we got to Kotra – 150km from Udaipur by car, left our luggage in SM centre and the rest of the road – around 20km we did on bikes. The purpose of this trip was to take shoots for short documentaries which Manish is setting for Seva Mandir. He wants to make a short story about local farmers who were supported by SM and became co-owners of Dal Mill. Babulal and Ram Bablu became the main characters of our storie – see photos below:)

Link for the movie will come shortly….

Every day we woke up around 6am, had a quick chai and went by bike to Medi village. Whole day shooting, recording, taking photos, talking to villagers, cooking with them (I didn’t cook :))… The hospitality of Indian people is something I haven’t met anywhere else. And the harsh nature of Rajasthan countryside is truly breathtaking.

After all day in dust on the fields hot shower from the backet:) at the candle (there was no light in the bathroom:)) – unforgettable moments… It sounds a bit cheesy, I know:)
